is Hanyang University a good college in South Korea?
About Tongwon College (South Korea)
This might be a long shot of a question, but does anyone who lives in or has been to South Korea know anything about Tongwon College by any chance ? If so, do they offer campus housing and what kind of degrees do they offer(As in Associates, Bachelors, Masters)? Also, is it seen as a respectable college?
There’s a good reason I’m asking, but I can’t find any sites in English that offer the information I want.
Thanks!
About how easy is it for an expatriate kid to cope in a school in South Korea
I am considering moving to South Korea to teach English and would like to eventually take my 11 yr old daughter. How good are the international schools there? How is the fee structure like and is English the medium of communication in the schools? Anyone out there who has migrated with kids?

About college in Korea or US
I’m a Korean and I’ve had my entire education outside of Korea from K to now (I’m still in 10th grade). I know about the 12 year way of getting into Korean colleges and that’s one of the reasons why I want to get into Korean universities. However, I’m still considering going to USA. I want to know if I have a chance of getting into one of the SKY’s medical program or if I should look into USA’s medical program. I want to get into a pre-med course in college and go to medical school to become a doctor.
I took the SAT last month and I got 2040. I haven’t taken the TOEFL yet but I’m planning on taking it before the summer vacation. My GPA’s somewhere above 3.7 (out of 4.0) and I have some service hours already but that’s all from teaching English to native kids here. Oh and I prefer English to Korean. My Korean is kind of….. bad. I’m at the level of a middle school freshman??
So my question is, what’s my probability of getting into SKY’s medical program and should I go to Korea or should I go to USA for college?
Oh I forgot my extra-curricular activities. I’ve played piano for 11 years and am on the varsity basketball and swimming team here.

About going to college abroad in south korea
I plan on going to college in korea?
I am now a 10th grader and I plan on going to college abraod in South Korea then living there. I plan on teaching English there too, but I really want to teach at a University in korea. As time comes, probally own a night club or apartments….
But the main thing is getting there. What are the requirements: my GPA?
Perfect grades? Whatever I need to do, I’ll do it. My parents won’t pay for this so it is up to me. I can perhaps go for a scolarship in korea right? I know some korean and I am still working towards being more fluent. (I’m not close to bing fluent yet)
I’m not sure if this will help but I am great at writing: I write about fantasies.
Perhaps I can start writing books to earn some money to help pay? I know that if I go to college in America, I can get transfered but I want to start there and finish there. Then start living there.
Thank You for your help
